Privacy policy
Last updated: October 3, 2026.
At MascotitaKit we want you to know exactly what data is used and why. This policy explains how each part of the site works.
Tools: your data stays on your phone
None of the 25 tools needs an account. What you type into them (for example your pet's name, photo, weight or vaccines) is saved only in your own browser's storage. We don't send it to our servers and we can't see it. If you clear your browser data, that information is deleted.
Camera, microphone and photos
Some tools ask for your camera or microphone (for example, to record a bark or take a photo). They're only used while the tool is open, you decide whether to allow it, and recordings and photos aren't uploaded to any server. The breed detector analyzes the photo on your own phone.
Third-party services
Netlify hosts the site and may log technical visit data such as your IP address. Google Fonts serves the typefaces and receives your IP address when loading them. Google AdSense may show ads on the site: Google and its partners may use cookies, web beacons and your IP address to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can turn off personalized ads in Google's ad settings and read how Google uses data from sites that use its services.
Feedback and contact forms
If you write to us through a form on the site, the message is sent to our email through FormSubmit, a form delivery service. We receive what you write: your message, the page you wrote from and, if you add them, your name and email. We only use this to read and reply to you. Messages are not published on the site.
Visit statistics
When active, we use Google Analytics to count visits in aggregate (for example, which tools are used most or which country people visit from). Google Analytics uses cookies and receives technical data such as your shortened IP address, device type and the pages you visit. We don't use it to identify you. More details in our cookie policy.
Amazon links
As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. If you buy through our links, Amazon may use cookies to record the purchase. This doesn't change the price you pay.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from children under that age. If you believe a child sent us personal data through a form, email us and we'll delete it.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the data you sent us by email or through a form. You control the tools' data yourself from your browser.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above.
